I have a First Class honours degree in English Literature and a law degree (don’t ask). I grew up in Canada, but have worked in marketing roles since moving to London over a decade ago. Writing was always a passion of mine, from the days of keeping a LiveJournal in high school to writing about craft beer on my blog, Brewing East.
I’ve written for EasyJet Traveller magazine and Time Out London. I’ve been nominated for a number of awards for my blog, including Beer Citizen Communicator in 2017 and Best Young Beer Writer in 2018 by the British Guild of Beer Writers. Fun fact: I’m also an accredited Beer Sommelier.
Although the craft beer and drinks industry are a specialism—I worked on the marketing team of London’s largest craft brewery between 2018 and 2019—I also have experience working in-house, where I’ve written about anything from procurement to sustainable business practices.
So I’m versatile and enjoy creating copy that engages my reader.
I’m experienced in digital marketing, including generating high-quality content for, and monitoring, social media accounts. I’m happy to review existing social accounts and make recommendations on how to grow your followers, increase engagement and use each platform effectively.
